In this study, the corrosion behavior of steel reinforcement in concrete was investigated in two different protection methods. In the first method, pozzolanic additives with optimized percentage were added to concrete mix design (the percentage of these additives are 25% Weight of cement of fly ash, Micro silica with 10 percent of weight of cement and 25% of Blast Furnace slag weight of cement). In the second approach of protection, 0.5 percent weight of cement of ferrogard 901 inhibitor is added to basic mix concrete design and its effect on the corrosion behavior of steel in concrete in simulated sea conditions (3.5% NaCl) and accelerated corrosion was determined. In order to perform the accelerated corrosion test in the above conditions, concrete samples were placed under a voltage of 24 volts. The results of the test show that the pozzolanic concrete containing 10% by weight of microsilica cement and Ferrogard 901 inhibitory specimen has the highest resistance and after 24 days was broken and destroyed and the control sample the least resistance was destroyed after 18 days.
