Abstract:   (385 Views)
Extensive activities about corrosion inhibitors in facilities related to Iran's oil and gas industry are carried out by experts in this field, which have been able to preserve national capital in these industries. The main purpose of implementing a corrosion management system is to organize the processes related to corrosion engineering, so that in the long run and with continuous improvement of conditions, the direct and indirect costs of corrosion are reduced. One of the main factors in controlling and reducing the rate of corrosion and its costs is the use of corrosion inhibitors, which are used in various ways in the oil and gas industry. In this study, using the latest information in the field of selection, consumption and monitoring of corrosion inhibitors, questionnaires were prepared and distributed in the selected fields of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). Based on the results of supplementary questionnaires and the most up-to-date relevant parameters in the field of management of corrosion inhibitors, eight parameters were introduced to monitor the use of corrosion inhibitors. These parameters were measured in selected fields of NIOC. Results showed that timely supply of chemicals and injection systems are the main problem in the use of corrosion inhibitors. Suggestions were made to solve the existing problems.
